BOOK REVIEW

BOOK: Wrongsized

AUTHOR: Larry Solomon

PUBLISHER: Outskirts Press, Inc.

ISBN-13: 978-1432723477

RATING: 5 stars

Wrongsized is a fantastically funny book that also gives you practical advice on how to be gainfully employed.

It's not that I couldn't put this book down, it is more like I didn't want to put this book down. I read it straight through from cover to cover laughing hilariously out loud and enjoying every minute of reading this book.

To top it all off, the book is filled with "end notes" that you have to turn to the back to find out what the author has to say. I tried not turning to the back because I was interested in what I was reading but found the little numbers nagging me. More often than not I either learned something new or had another laugh. You really do need to find out about the poisonous snake!!

After the author keeps you thoroughly entertained and at the point where he totally has your attention, he gives very practical advice on how to get a job which makes this the perfect book for anybody that is in the job market today because it gets you over the dismal feelings by laughing about it. Once you are cheered up, then you get the practical advice which is very good, useful information.

BOOK REVIEW

BOOK: Bader Field

AUTHOR: Carl David

PUBLISHER: Nightengale Press

ISBN-13: 978-1933449661

RATING: 4 stars

In Bader Field, Carl David portrays a beautiful story speaking about the love and inspiration he received from his father who passed on when Carl was only 24 years old. It is an emotional story of the trials and difficulties to continue even when the going is rough and one thinks he cannot go forward.

Sam David, Carl's father was an extraordinary individual who was not only an inspiration to his family and children but also in the art world. It was an honor to meet Sam David in this memoir.

Sam David guided Carl in his young life and gave him elemental tools to use. The tools and the guidance are what have helped Carl to get through the loss of his father, to hold the family together, bring up his children and continue to make the family art business thrive.

With Bader Field, Carl David has given the readers lessons, wisdom and the elemental tools for life survival and shared them with his readers. It's a good book to read.

BOOK: Wolf Song Visions

PUBLISHER: Book Surge

RATING: 4 stars

Some subjects have been rejected in decades past. Living in a more modern society, taboo subjects have started to be spoken about. One such subject has been living other lifetimes. Sometimes Hollywood will turn out a movie on the subject as entertainment but it is hardly ever that one gets to read a thorough accounting of a life lived in the past.

Wolf Song Visions is one book that will keep you turning the pages with not one but two accounts of past lives with the two people able to recount in detail the life that was shared over three hundred years ago.

Not only was the lifetime recalled and written in detail, there are many messages that are to be learned. One especially is that Mother Earth did have an advanced civilization three hundred years ago - the Native American Indian. You will be impressed by the methods that were used by this incredible people to live, to heal and to flourish along with nature. It was lessons that the white man did not learn then and now has to in order to solve the predicaments created by "modern" man.

You will want to read this book as it is an interesting page turning story. You will be impressed by the details, the care that was taken to live well while taking care of the earth and most importantly, you will want to read the story to find out the special message.
