BOOK REVIEW
BOOK: Dreamstone

PUBLISHER: Book Surge
ISBN-13: 978-1439216279
RATING: 5 stars

Have you ever picked up a book that was intriguing in the hopes that it really was as good as it looked? This is one of "those" books.

It is said that the author, P.A. Hendrickson left his career in corporate America to fulfill a lifelong dream of writing and publishing his first novel. I am truly glad that he did pursue his dream because this book is not only a page-turning entertaining story, it also inspires one to dare to achieve dreams.

An intergalactic chase with slavers and power grabbers is on to get the Dreamstone while one person on an all but forgotten planet is the target to remove. Joebin Vassiter is that person but he was meant for a higher calling. Join him in his journey with a mis-matched band of volunteers that travel to uncharted regions of the planet that he has been lured to in his dreams.

The action starts at the very beginning of the book and you will find yourself rapidly flipping the pages to find out about the mysteries of the planet up till the very last page. Does Joebin Vassiter save the planet and his people or does this gem of a planet get ruined? You won't find out until the very last pages of the book - until then you will be sitting on the edge of your seat cheering Joebin on.

I'm hoping the P.A. Hendrickson decides to continue writing!
